The Mission

Global attention on Africa, and a real bond with the people there.

The mission was to turn international attention toward Africa through a creator of this calibre, and to build a genuine bond with the people on the ground. Every leg protected his artistic direction while making room for real impact: ministerial and top level government meetings, sessions with Don Jazzy and Dr Sid, football with local kids, and partnerships with foundations doing lasting work.

The Market Lift — Douala

A working morning in a Douala market, hauling sacks alongside the men who do it every day. No set, no staging, and the crowd that gathered around it is the whole point. Two feed posts came out of the leg and both cleared eight figures.
